Pontefract and Castleford District Scout Council are looking for registrations of interest for up to 10 Trustee Board Members.  In the event of an election a vote by Scout Council members will be taken.  Nominees name, summary of experiences and reasons for nomination along with the role required will be available to our scout council members to enable voting. Trustees must be 18 years or over and be prepared to adhere to charity conditions.  Once registered further details will be sent.

We offer Scouting to young people aged 4 to 25 years old plus there are opportunities for young people of any age to work and support our programmes. We currently offer Scouting to around 500 people in 7 Groups, 2 Explorer Scout Units, the District Scout Network and our Active Support Unit.

We currently have Groups meeting in Pontefract, Castleford, Fryston, Normanton, Altofts and Ackworth but also have plans to move into Hemsworth and South Elmsall over the next couple of years. Could you help?
